“791. Quiet Morning Seaside Beach” Oil painting by Mariko Irie

This is other painting of foggy morning at Seaside Beach.

It was soft and tender tranquil atmosphere to meditation.

I found this words, which my friend posted today:

Autumn is the perfect time to take account of what we’ve done, what we didn’t do, and what we’d like to do next year.” ~Author Unknown

It’s a perfect time, isn’t it?

Let’s do it.

Foggy Morning Seaside Beach

I realized that I didn’t write my Blog for long time.

I had two big shows and three weeks Japan trip. That is the way my time went by.

Now it’s in autumn in Santa Rosa. Leaves were turning colorful and also falling leaves.

I have been oil painting on 6” x 6” Premier Artists’ Panel since I came back from three weeks Japan trip.

Now a painting is dried. So I can scan and made digital file and can show you.

This was early foggy morning at Seaside Beach in California.

Walking on sand, nobody was there and sound of silence.

Colors were canceled by fog. I love these colors which, I call European colors and this simple composition had a good impact.

What do you think?

Tiny Samurai

“754. Tiny Samurai” Oil Painting by Mariko Irie

I wanted this painting to be strong composition.

I got a bird and I wanted some movement but not destruct the bird.

I got photo of plum blossoms from Kyoto in Japan. It was just in time and just right flower for this bird.

After I painted and looked at the face and posture of this bird, this title came out.

It’s “Tiny Samurai”.

What do you think?

Song Sparrow

This bird is a song Sparrow.

It sung this song to me.

(Just like) Starting Over

Our life together is so precious together
We have grown, we have grown
Although our love is still special
Let’s take a chance and fly away somewhere alone

It’s been too long since we took the time
No-one’s to blame, I know time flies so quickly
But when I see you darling
It’s like we both are falling in love again
It’ll be just like starting over, starting over

Everyday we used to make it love
Why can’t we be making love nice and easy
It’s time to spread our wings and fly
Don’t let another day go by my love
It’ll be just like starting over, starting over

Why don’t we take off alone?
Take a trip somewhere far, far away
We’ll be together all alone again
Like we used to in the early days
Well, well, well darling

It’s been too long since we took the time
No-one’s to blame, I know time flies so quickly
But when I see you darling
It’s like we both are falling in love again
It’ll be just like starting over, starting over

Our life together is so precious together
We have grown, we have grown
Although our love is still special
Let’s take a chance and fly away somewhere

Starting over

Lennon, John

Olive Sparrow

What this bird is thinking?

Maybe:

There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I’ve loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new

Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

Fox Sparrow

This bird looks like saying “I will listen to you. Talk to me.”

Well then I will tell my story:

Listen, do you want to know a secret?
Do you promise not to tell, whoa, oh
Closer, let me whisper in your ear
Say the words you long to hear

I’m in love with you, ooo

I’ve known a secret for a week or two
Nobody knows, just we two

Listen, do you want to know a secret?
Do you promise not to tell, whoa, oh
Closer, let me whisper in your ear
Say the words you long to hear

I’m in love with you, ooo, ooo

Enjoy spring.

Orange-crowned Warbler

Yesterday was Spring Equinox. So now we can say spring, right?

Spring is a season of “sprout of love”.

This song was written by John Lennon and Paul Maccartney.

This bird brings this song to you.

All You Need is Love

(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)

There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It’s easy

There’s nothing you can make that can’t be made
No one you can save that can’t be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn to be you in time
It’s easy

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)
(Love, love, love)

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

There’s nothing you can know that isn’t known
Nothing you can see that isn’t shown
There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be
It’s easy

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

All you need is love, all together now
All you need is love, everybody
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

Love is all you need
Love is all you need
Love is all you need

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

From my window, I can see a lot of birds on branches as chirping.

They start chirping happily even at dawn.

Summer saving time started, but my body clock is still wintertime. So I wake up around 6:30am. It’s still dark, but some birds start singing like spring is coming.

So I decided to paint “A Bird” series.

Here is one of them ”Blue-gray Gnatcather”.
