It was cloudy all day long. When I was driving, suddenly the gray sky opened. I knew it would be a sunset. So I drove to Cabrillo Dr, parked at the gallery, and walked toward Point Cabrillo Lighthouse.
It was gorgeous Sunset.
I went to Mendocino Coast.
It’s spring. Flowers are started blooming on trees and ground.
Ground is covered with fresh green and yellow. Daffodils are blooming.
What a exciting time of a year.
My solo show is coming at the Northcoast Artists Gallery.

He is staring at something.
“What is it?â€
“Shuuuu†quietly.
He is curious about a lot of things. It is very good thing.
I love this painting very much; because face expression came out exactly I wanted.
This painting doesn’t dry yet. The weather was too dump or too much white in this picture.
I was on a way to Santa Rosa from Mendocino.
Along the Hwy 128 there is the Gowan’s apple orchard. We love their apple cider.
It was a foggy morning. I love to paint foggy, misty scene as well as sunny ones.
The last night I watched my favor watercolorist Joseph Zbukvic’s YouTube. So this morning I wanted paint a scene in watercolor.
I really enjoyed painting in watercolor today. Did I get his influence in this painting?
It’s another “beautiful day on a beach” scene.
Waves are not good for surfing any more now, aren’t they?
What do you think?
But it’s nice to be by the ocean. Just chatting as watching waves.
I tried to paint bold brush strokes. I think it came out good, including a seagull.
Happy Valentine Day!!!!!
This painting is still wet, but I wanted to post on Valentine day.
Basking on a nice warm beach, waves are coming and going is our back music.
This painting’s under coat is Medium Magenta, which is pink and drawing is Alizarin Crimson, which is red.
This is my favor way to start, especially for landscapes. Because a lot of colors are blue, green…. Cool color at a beach. And after finish painting, I enjoy that pink and red are peeking. These colors warm up my painting.
Georges Seurat painted with dots. I have red that he was experimenting how we can see colors. Using pure color next each other, then our eyes see colors more bright and vivid.
Have a sweet day,
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
