Seaside Beach in the Morning

“801. Seaside Beach in the Morning” Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie

In the morning walking on sand at a beach is precious.

Fresh, soft and gentle air is passing.

Waves are coming and going.

What a nice quiet sounds of music.

Birds are flying or running on a beach.

We can jump, dancing with cheer, if we want.

Time is passing with beautiful memories.

Seaside Beach in Silver

“800. Seaside Beach in Silver” Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie

This location is Seaside Beach.

I painted this painting as same as 799. Seaside Beach in Gold.

I painted in regular watercolor and played with Silver watercolor over the painting.

It’s a nice soothing scene. Don’t you think?

Seaside Beach in Gold

“799. Seaside Beach in Gold” Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie

This location is Seaside Beach CA.

I wanted to play with Metallic watercolor with regular watercolor.

First I painted this painting in regular watercolor, and I played with Gold watercolor over this painting.

I didn’t want disharmony between regular watercolor and gold watercolor.

Also I wanted distinguish effect between them.

I feel satisfied with this painting.

And I’m getting to know about metallic watercolor’s nature better.

It’s fun.

This digital file doesn’t shine on Gold part.

I’m going to display this painting at the Norhtcoast Artists Gallery on Oct. 28. I hope you can come to see the painting in person.

Jug Handle Creek

This location is at Jug Handle Creek, CA.

It’s a nice, quiet and gentle atmosphere, isn’t it?

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” Steve Jobs
If you sit down like this place, you might hear your own inner voice.

Cheerful Splashes

It was sunny day at Jug Handle Beach, CA.

Waves are splashing cheerfully.

It sounds like happy and cheerful symphony.

Can you hear it?

My heart is dancing along this scene.

“You can’t blame gravity for falling in love. ”      Albert Einstein

Waves at Sunny Morning

I have painted foggy morning paintings.

It’s nice quiet time at foggy morning. But too many days is too much, you get tired, right?

You understand my feeling.

So today I present Sunny Morning for you.

Good day sunshine,
Good day sunshine,
Good day sunshine.
I need to laugh, and when the sun is out
I’ve got something I can laugh about,
I feel good, in a special way.
I’m in love and it’s a sunny day.

A Scene from the Cave (Seaside Beach)

“793. A Scene from the Cave (Seaside Beach)” Oil painting by Mariko Irie

This location is at Seaside Beach, CA.

There are several caves at this beach.

Some of them are tunnel. The tunnels go through huge rocks.

This is a one of them.

Looking at out side from inside of the cave, it makes a scene different.

It makes the world compact and feels like this world is only mine.
