Spring by The Ocean Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I painted this painting as my demonstration at my workshop.<\/p>\n<p>One of students requested to paint seascape, especially waves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>People ask me how to paint waves.<\/p>\n<p>My way is: go to a beach, staring waves coming and going for least half of hour. And paint the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Painting from only photo is so difficult, because I have to know how waves move. When I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m painting, the memory comes back. And then in my painting, waves move.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m a realist. I love to watch.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that you enjoy this painting. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s warm springtime by the ocean.
