I started to listen Fujii Kaze songs.

He is a great pianist, performer, song writer and real artist/creator in the world.

I love his song “Grace”.

Fujii Kaze – graceOfficial Video

This lyric came to me just in time😊:

Grace, grace, grace, grace

Grace, grace, grace, grace

Got nothing to shout about

I just walked away from that shadow

There’s no need to argue anymore

I just smiled and quietly closed my eyes

Help me God

If you’re inside of me

Never ever go away from here

But actually I’ve always been the one to leave

While you are always here by my side

I’m home, Sunrise Welcome back, Sunset

Finally we’re here together, spinning around

I’m really glad to meet me

Finally now I’m free

Tears also have just started to shine ah

Here today, gone tomorrow

Oh what a fleeting world

No matter what happens

Everything is your own grace, grace, grace, grace

grace, grace, grace, grace

Grace, grace, grace, grace

Grace, grace, grace, grace

I’m so done with the days of fear that I could hardly breath

I flew them high in the sky Now I’m invincible

you are me; I am you

from the moment I realized that everyone is just the same

We are all equally shine bright

What can we do?

If you follow our love insid

There’s nothing we can’t do

I’ve always been searching for truth outside

But it’s been here inside my heart all the time

Sorry I kept you waiting  Thank you for your patience

I will come to you Let us become one.

I’m really glad to meet you

Finally now I’m free

Tears also have just started to shine ah

Here today, gone tomorrow

Oh, what a fleeting world

No matter what happens ,

All is your grace

No matter what

All is mine grace, grace, grace, grace

Grace, grace, grace, grace

Grace, grace, grace, grace

1277. The Fairyland in Bodega CA

“1277. The Fairyland in Bodega, CA” Oil painting by Mariko Irie

This location is at the Estero Americano in Bodega.

I went to paint out with the group, West County Plein Air.

When we got to the location to paint, it was extremely windy. If I went there by myself without this group, I would just turn around without painting to go home.

Well, I just decided the place to paint: I looked for a big tree to block the wind. It was better than nothing, but wind was blowing under the tree to get me constantly.

It was hard to move, I surrendered to find somewhere better. The time was limited as well.

The awfully strong wind took my mind away, just holding my painting panel on to the easel, and paint and paint till finished. I just wanted to finish the painting and go back to the peaceful warmth of the car.

After I got back to being comfortable in the car, it was so quiet.

Then it flashed my mind which is training in being hit by a waterfall for Spiritual unity.

They stand under a tall waterfall for hours to do meditation. Water is noisy, cold and pain to body.

I experienced how to focus on what I’m doing without future nor past, just being present through this paint out.

It was a great experience for me.

I’m looking at this painting now, I feel so tranquil. It doesn’t recall the strong wind at all, looks like “Fairyland”.

Thank you to everybody who coordinated this paint out.

1263. Peaceful Mendocino Bay

This location is Mendocino Headlands along the Bay.

I came to Mendocino in 1982 summer.

I got falling love with Mendocino right away.

As living there I got to know how people keep this village beautifully.

Mendocino Historical Review Board works so hard to keep the village not change.

When my youngest son was a baby, we rose up against “Off Shore Drilling”. We went to protest with our children. It was a peaceful one.

People rose up against General Pacific Mill who was doing clear cut trees. Especially along the rivers they did it. No shade for Salmon eggs to hutch, that wiped out Samon industry. Of cause it’s terrible to ecosystem. Also the company toxicated their property which was the 420 acre lumber mill in Fort Bragg downtown. It was a long and complicated battle, including between protesters and employees of the company. Finally the company shut down in 2002.

After the company moved out, the clean up took for 15 years. Now it’s a nice park along the ocean,

Always I wonder if there is a way of peaceful resolution for saving our sacred earth.

I watched this video, made me a big smile.

I always want to share what I watch good videos in Japanese with you. Unfortunately they don’t have English subtitle. But this one my favor YouTuber invited Hawaiian to their YouTube. The Hawaiian speaks English. This story is how they saved the Sacred mountain peacefully.

Keep smiling to our beautiful earth in universe.

“1262. Ocean View with an Old Fence” Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie

When you feel the world is tangled up, come to a quiet comfortable place and be alone relaxing.

You will find out that world is fading away.

You will have a new vision for the hope.

This location is in Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens.

Let’s be there listening to waves and wind for soothing ourselves to clear our mind.

1245. Lovely Lights for Tomorrow

After my show is up at the Northcoast Artists Gallery, I had to deal with business including filing Sale tax.

Now I started to relax and watch my plants.

I’m doing natural farming which doesn’t use pesticide nor fertilizer.

First cut weeds, leave their roots in soil, that is how the sprouting new weeds is slowed.

I make raised rows, disturbing soil as little as possible, making holes with water for seeds or baby plants.

This year I was busy preparing for my show, I didn’t have time to seed tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and basil, so I purchased them.

Finally I planted them in ground in June.

I’m doing natural farm, so roots grow slowly at first, then the plants suddenly get big and strong.

This year soaker hose had problem, didn’t water plants properly and plants got a lot of holes by bugs except tomatoes.

My favorite natural farmer, Imahashi, always says when getting plants from nurseries their soil has fertilizer that attracts bugs, but not to worry keep and let them grow with your love, when bugs finish their job they go away.

His idea is bugs come to try to fix problems.

Anyway, after we got better soaker hoses and started watering properly, plants are getting healthy and growing bigger.

I planted garlic which started sprout in our cabinet. They have very thick healthy leaves now.

Watching the lovely lights at the end of a day, which gives us smiles and very positive energy for tomorrow.

1244. Going with the Flow

I think everybody has tried and failed.

I found a way to get through that period.

Just watching the situation like the third person outside of it, like watching waves.

“1244. Going with the Flow” Watercolor painting by Mariko Irie

Then it starts to untangle itself.

Or you can see from the other side of the issue, we may find it’s not an issue, just a way of nature.

We don’t need to be upset nor unhappy, just going with the flow as believing in ourselves.

1248. Finding Our Peace

We felt our world got in a vortex of chaos from covid 19, big fires, drought, then floods and economic fluctuations.

These dramatic events can lead to anxiety.

Stop thinking in that direction.

“1248. Finding Our Peace” Oil painting by Mariko Irie

Go to a beach, a forest, somewhere you find yourself in nature.

Sooth yourself and feel peace and safety.

Your peace of mind and happy feelings are contagious to your friends, family and surroundings.

Vibrations, photons can make our world a beautiful and happy place for tomorrow.

This is my belief, that is the way I paint.
