Only today and tomorrow left in 2023.
This year passed so fast and I did a lot of things.
Now I just want to lay down and stare at sky while watching fluffy clouds go by.

My day 27 painting is
“1222. Precious Light”

This location is Napa-Sonoma Marshes, CA.
Yesterday I painted “1221. Barn at Napa-Sonoma Marshes” there.
During painting, I found the traffic noise is much quieter, just crossed the railroad track and got lower than Ramal Rd.
When I got there, there were dark clouds and nice warm light peeking between the clouds and far away mountains.
I knew it would be sunny soon, so that kind of light wouldn’t last long.
Soon white clouds appeared here and there, and the warm light was fading but still there.
When I wrapped up, the sky was blue.
It was a nice challenge😊❤️.

They gave me two panels, exactly same as the other 4†x 4†centered on a 5†x 5†panel.
I painted the morning ocean scene on the panel. I love the cheerful fresh wind blowing clouds, it gives me good energy for the day.
In bed at sunrise, I was staring the painting wondering how I want to paint on the border. Trees’ leaves block the sun, in the dark shadows light peeks through leaves and branches. That is the way this painting was born.
A beautiful morning gives us good energy to start a day,
